Pleasant Hill Cellars 2008 C.T.S., Columbia Valley, $29
By Great Northwest Wine on February 17, 2013
Winemaker Larry Lindvig, a graduate of the renowned Boeing Wine Club, operates from the Cascade foothills town of Carnation. This is a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Syrah (thus the name). It opens with enticing aromas of coffee, toasted coconut, dark chocolate, blackberry and pomegranate, followed by big flavors of blueberry, cherry, Baker’s chocolate and boysenberry. This is a bold wine that calls for grilled or roasted meats or lasagna.
