Alexandria Nicole Cellars 2011 Crawford Viognier, Columbia Valley, $20
By Great Northwest Wine on March 4, 2013
Owner/winemaker Jarrod Boyle brought in grapes from the cooler Yakima Valley for this delicious and beautifully balanced Viognier. It opens with aromas of applesauce, elberta peach, honey and marmalade, followed by flavors of pineapple, baked peach and caramel. It’s a delicious wine with ample acidity and should pair nicely with seafood bisque or pasta in a rich clam sauce.
Rating: Excellent
Production: 191 cases
Alcohol: 13.5%
