Washington wineThe Martinez family has been growing wine grapes in the Phinny Hill area of Washington’s Horse Heaven Hills for more than 30 years. This red blend leads with Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), followed by equal parts Merlot and Malbec. It opens with aromas of ripe plums, chocolate, fudge and violets, followed by rich flavors of cordial cherry, vanilla and dark chocolate, all backed with sturdy tannins and nice acidity.
