terra-blanca-winery-2009-batholith-bottleGeologist-turned winemaker Keith Pilgrim names this blend of estate Merlot (53%), Cabernet Sauvignon (41%) and Syrah as a tribute to the forces of nature that create rock formations such as Yosemite’s Half Dome. It’s a complex offering with aromas and flavors of Rainier cherry, red currant and plum skins with dried sage and earthiness. This wine received a silver medal at the 2014 Seattle Wine & Food Experience Wine Competition.
