Moses Lake winemaker Kyra Baerlocher adds to her portfolio by naming her blended wines after cherished members of her family. Cave B Vineyard next to the Gorge Amphitheater supplied the grapes for this blend of Viognier (59%), Riesling (26%) and Roussanne which is a tribute to her great aunt. It’s steely approach — no oak and no malolactic fermentation — showcases a perfuminess of peach, elder flower, freshly laundered linen, Uncola and crushed herbs. There’s a plush approach to the palate with Bartlett pear and more elder flower, a kiss of residual sugar (0.8%) and a slice of gooseberry pie in the finish.

I own a restaurant in Spokane and we recently picked up a bottle of the Opal white blend from Grocery Outlet and our customers loved it and want more. Please contact me so we can chat about carrying this wine.
