reflection-vineyards-cabernet-sauvignon-2011-labelRattlesnake Hills winemaker Kent VanArnam works with tiny lots of free-run juice from his estate site at 1,000 feet elevation near Zillah, Wash. His expression with 18 months of oak creates aromas of coffee, dark cherry, huckleberry and plum with a vase of lilac. Inside, it’s brimming with red currant and Rainier cherry inside a lighter structure with soft tannins that give it charm for structured balance that needs no time in the cellar.
