Patterson Cellars 2011 TempranilloRattlesnake Hills grower Joe Hattrup provides some of the Yakima Valley’s best fruit to a number of boutique producers throughout the Puget Sound. John Patterson’s expression with this Iberian variety opens with a nose of red cherry, red plum, bittersweet chocolate, toasted walnut and eucalyptus. The drink delivers luscious flavors of cherries and pomegranate with sturdy yet managed tannins. Those appreciate the power of Petite Sirah will especially appreciate this.
