This version includes hints of raspberry strawberry, rasins and peach skin, followed by flavors of strawberry, dried peach, more raspberry and vanilla bourbon. There’s a fair bit of alcohol heat and lots of sweetness (15% residual sugar), but it’s got the acidity for balance. This received a silver medal at the Capital Food and Wine Festival Wine Competition.
