Olympic Peninsula vinter David Volmut, a graduate of Yakima Valley Community College’s winemaking school, sourced from Lonesome Spring Ranch for his Orange Muscat (90%) and blended in some Pinot Gris. He’s fashioned this into a dry presentation featuring aromas and flavors of Gala apple, baked pear, lemon oil, dried hops and fresh gooseberry. Suggested pairings include cod, halibut and shellfish, and these wines are available at the Sequim tasting room and wine shops throughout the OP.
