By on September 19, 2014

maryhill-winery-winemaker-white-bottleBest Buy! Maryhill winemaker Richard Batchelor puts his signature on the front of this everyday, food-friendly blend of Pinot Gris (45%), Semillon (39%), Sauvignon Blanc (12%) and Viognier. It’s a fruit-forward drink that opens with aromas of dusty Golden Delicious apple and cotton candy joined by toast and butter. There’s a steady delivery of apple and pear, backed by apple butter richness on the midpalate and mouthwatering acidity on the way through. Suggested food applications range from Asparagus Risotto and Bacon-Wrapped Scallops to Cranberry Walnut Salad and entree such as Fettuccine Alfredo, grilled salmon, herb-roasted chicken and shellfish.
