The Pines 1852-Pinot Noir-Columbia Gorge-2012-BottleWhile Indiana native Lonnie Wright owns a historic vineyard in the Columbia Gorge, he also manages a number of the region’s top vineyards. His customers benefit from his work with those Pinot Noir vines as well as Peter Rosback’s winemaking. They collaborated to create a pretty wine that’s filled with aromas of Rainier cherry, dusty rose and black truffle. The drink is smooth and elegant with the focus on fruity flavors of cherry and raspberry. It received a silver medal at the 2014 Columbia Gorge Wine Competition.
