westport-winery-night-watch-nv-labelValentine’s Day celebrations throughout wineries in the Pacific Northwest poured red wine alongside chocolate, but this wine blends both — Merlot with chocolate flavoring. Hence, there are rich and amazing aromas and flavors of brownie mix, tiramisu, Tootsie Roll, cherries and blackberries. What gives this wine remarkable body is the thin layer of fine-grained tannin to balance the residual sugar of 10%. It is indeed a chocolate lover’s wine. At the on-premise Farm to Fork Restaurant, they will suggest enjoying a glass of this with their Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, and each sale of the wine benefits Harbors Home Health and Hospice.
