Pacific Rim Winemakers 2013 Selenium Vineyard Dry Riesling bottleBest Buy! Geisenheim clone 239 Riesling berries produce this stunningly dramatic, dry and delicious drink under a fresh look for this brand now owned by Banfi. Nicolas Quille and Steven Sealock, who refined their approach with Riesling while working for Randall Grahm, build the nose with hints of Gala apple, dried pear, apricot and honeysuckle. On the palate, it’s akin to fresh-cut Honeycrisp apple backed by Asian pear and juicy acidity. The miniscule amount of residual sugar (0.5%) allows for notes of mineralty to flourish in the finish.

Rating: Outstanding!
