Phil Cline’s tasty blend of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Viognier and Roussanne hails from Two Coyote Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills near Zillah, Wash. Aromas of Granny Smith apple, baked pear and fresh-cut lime lead to flavors of pineapple and Honeycrisp apple. There’s good acidity behind this to balance the residual sugar of 1%, making for a juicy finish that dances across the palate and will pair deliciously with spicy Asian fare. He increased production slightly from the 2012 version.
