This historic Puget Sound winery continues to take its non-grape program seriously, which shows in this nice and tight fruit wine. Approachable aromas of blueberry include hints of blackberry, rose petal and cedar. It’s even more varietally correct on the palate, which is full-on blueberry with solid acidity to back its off-dry approach at 1.5% residual sugar. It’s one of nine fruit wines or cordials in the portfolio, and this received a silver medal at the 2015 Capital Food and Wine Festival judging.
