dancin-vineyards-melodia-pinot-noir-2012-bottleJacksonville vintners Dan and Cindy Marca incorporate seven clones — Dijon 114, 115, 667, 777 & 828, Wadenswil 2A and Pommard — from their vineyard along South Stage Road for this appropriately named harmonious Pinot Noir. Elegant aromas include strawberry, raspberry and dusty red currant with accents of mocha, violets and earthiness. What follows is a graceful and continuous push of Rainier cherry, red currant and ripe raspberry flavors, backed by sandy tannins and a sprinkling of cocoa powder.
