Milbrandt Vineyards-2014-Traditions Rosé BottleBest Buy! The Milbrandt brothers and winemaker Joshua Maloney continue to build upon their success with many styles and at many price points — including this affordable and approachable rosé from Sangiovese and Syrah. Fruity aromas of dried strawberry and peach pick up hints of lavender and lilac. Inside, the focus is on dried cranberry and nectarine flavors, which are cast among an elegant structure of plum skin tannins and delicious acidity, finished with a scrape of orange zest. There’s no residual sugar (0.4%) to speak of, which makes it an ideal pairing with Butch Milbrandt’s Cinnamon Chicken over Penne Pasta.

Rating: Outstanding!
