lange-estate-winery-&-vineyards-reserve-pinot-noir-2012-bottleSecond-generation Jesse Lange sorts through with a combination of 26 blocks from Freedom Hill Vineyard and the Lange family’s estate in the Dundee Hills for this bold, smoky and berry-filled Pinot Noir. The use of 35% new French oak makes for a nose of Marionberry and Montmorency cherry with hickory-smoked red bell pepper. Inside, it blooms with flavors of Marionberry, boysenberry and pomegranate, which are backed by mouthfilling tannins, tar and chocolate-covered cherry.
