By on November 1, 2015

cavatappi-mollys-cuvee-sangiovese-2012-labelPuget Sound restaurateur-turned-vintner Peter Dow names this blend of Alder Ridge, Boushey and Red Willow vineyards for one of his daughters, Molly. Those stellar sites make for a Sangiovese that brings aromas of black cherry jam, pomegranate, Graham cracker, toast and black olive. There’s a match on the palate, which offers a structure that begins with a smooth entry of milk chocolate Chukar Cherries that’s backed by balanced acidity and lengthy finish.
