Her tradition is a 50/50 program of new and neutral Burgundy barrels has created aromas of dusty white peach, brioche, Angel Food cake, a bit of lemon and light butterscotch. That theme carries onto the palate, which offers a nice bit of oak and balanced creaminess with lingering lemon, lime and dried pineapple. Its finish of lemon pith and Golden Delicious apple make this an easy drinker and pleasing companion with lobster tail and dipping butter.
