95. Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards 2013 Gloria’s Syrah, Umpqua Valley, $42

2013-Gloria's-SyrahWinemaker Stephen Reustle crafted this delicious Syrah and named it to honor his wife, Gloria, and the label includes the flag from her native Puerto Rico. Inside the glass, the wine is superb, with aromas of brownies and raspberry jam and flavors of cocoa powder and black raspberry backed by dusty tannins and juicy acidity.

Rating: Outstanding!
