Best Northwest wines of 2015: 20-11

Sheila and Nick Nicholas run this vineyard and winery in a beautiful location in the hills above Newberg, Ore., and their wines have developed into some of the best in the Willamette Valley. This example of Pinot Noir from a superb vintage reveals aromas of red plum, a hint of purple lavender and red cherry. On the palate, it offers flavors of elegant red fruit backed by mild tannins and bright acidity.
