Grapes from Mike Andrews’ erstwhile cattle ranch paved the way for a dense nose of plum jam, blueberry, bittersweet chocolate, mincemeat spices and butter. Huge extraction generates a hedonistic delivery that paints the tongue with blueberry syrup, plum and Marionberry. Its smoky and toasty finish also carries a bite of Aussie-style black licorice that’s quite intense. These wines are available at restaurants and wine shops in the Vancouver/Portland area.
