Aromas of blueberry, boysenberry, Jolly Rancher grape candy, black tea and chalkboard dust lead to flavors of Marionberry and black currant. It offers tremendous balance with the nicely managed tannins and juicy acidity, as well as a pinch of sweet herbs and a finish of Aussie-style black licorice. Suggested pairings include cheese such as Asiago, Brie, moked Gouda, manchego and Romano, flank steak, lamb or venison.
