Harry and David Winery 2012 Reserve Pinot Noir, Rogue Valley, $25

By on March 19, 2016

harry-david-reserve-pinot-noir-2012-bottleSouthern Oregon winemaker Linda Donovan uses her Pallet Wine Co., operation to create the wine program for legendary Harry & David. This marked the debut vintage for their collaboration, and it’s a marvelous first effort from one of the Pacific Northwest’s most approachable growing seasons. The nose of Van cherry and strawberry-rhubarb compote is joined by earthiness for complexity. On the palate, it is suave with raspberry and juicy pomegranate. These wines are available at Harry & David’s outlets in Medford and Woodburn, Ore.

Rating: Outstanding!

Production: 450 cases
