92099_08Malbec_FRoseburg, Ore., vintner Patrick Spangler released a fascinating and lighter-styled Malbec that creates an aromatic profile of fresh sage, pomegranate and black curant with sarsaparilla, coffee and pea gravel. An astounding array of flavors includes Jolly Rancher grape candy and strawberry with well-managed tannins, pomegranate acidity and another rub of sage.
