One of the top destination wineries in the Pacific Northwest is adjacent to the fabulous Gorge at George (Wash.) amphitheater on the western edge of the Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley American Viticultural Area. The Bryan family has been producing Viognier since the 2007 vintage, and this superb example is floral at first whiff, followed by flavors of fresh peaches, banana oil and classic orange Creamsicle in the finish. It merited a gold medal and best of class at the 2017 Wenatchee Wine Awards. Suggested pairings include a spring salad with citrus fruit and shaved Manchego cheese, dressed with a verjus vinaigrette or a rockfish taco dressed with avocado, Mexican Crema Fresca and tomatillo salsa.
