Rio Vista Wines 2016 Wacky White, Columbia Valley, $22

The White family creates this off-dry blend of Chardonnay (70%), Viognier (20%) and Riesling from their estate vines upriver from the confluence of the Columbia and Chelan rivers. A delicious summer sipper, its blend of tropical and stone fruit wowed judges at the 2017 Wenatchee Wine Awards with its depth and complexity, winning a gold medal and best of class. These wines also are poured at Rio Vista’s new cabin near the entrance to Manson.
