Good question. Ste. Michelle doesn’t own any vineyards in Oregon, just Erath Winery. Thus, it buys all the grapes it uses from various growers. Precept happens to be a significant grape grower in Oregon.

I really enjoy this wine as the weather warms up.
Lots of fruit, just a tad of sugar. Beautiful peach, mango, lemon.
Try it with Asian food, fish or grilled chicken.
Or just sip it on a warm day. I loved it.

Thanks for the review. This is one of my favorite red wines. The only red I like better at this price is the Maryhill Winemaker’s Red.

We are not sure. As mentioned above, we are not privy to the competition results, as we are awaiting them like everyone else. The competition is run by another organization.

Zerba Cellars somehow knows that they received Gold Medals at the Northwest Wine Summit 2013. We too are waiting somewhat impatiently to see how the results turned out. How can Zerba have results and we don’t?
