Beaujolais Nouveau 2016 in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — The 15th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau festival will be Friday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. at the Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland.

New this year is culinary partner, Headwaters at the Heathman, under the leadership of Executive Chef Ken Norris and James Beard award-winning chef Vitaly Paley. Headwaters is a brand new seafood-themed restaurant opening in October in the space previously occupied by the Heathman Restaurant & Bar.

This event is recognized as one of the largest on the West Coast, drawing up to 500 guests each year. Revelers will enjoy sumptuous buffets arranged throughout the hotel’s vast Mezzanine space, as well as the elegant Tea Court.

The event will feature tastings hosted by prestigious French-connected vintners and importers, including Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2016, WillaKenzie Estate, Pacific Rim Winemakers, Eola Hills Wine Cellars, Ruby Vineyard, Domaine Divio, SE Wine Collective, Terroirs Originels, M. Chapoutier, Piper-Heidsieck Champagne. Guests will enjoy spirits including Hardy Cognac and Balinoff Vodka, and more.
