Celebrate Walla Walla Valley Wine

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — More than 70 Walla Walla Valley winemakers, several leading Napa Valley winemakers and well-known wine critics will lead the exploration of one of the world’s most widely recognized red wine grape varieties — Cabernet Sauvignon — over the course of three days June 20-22.
Contrast the growing conditions, wine styles and wines of two of the world’s leading wine regions — the Walla Walla Valley and California’s Napa Valley. Participate in special tastings of rare vintage wines, one-of-a-kind winemaker dinners, receptions with some of the valley’s most awarded winemakers, and much more.
The three-day event begins at 4 p.m. Thursday with the Vintage Wine Tasting at the exclusive Corliss Estates. Enjoy a rare opportunity to taste vintage wines (2006 and earlier) from 30 Walla Walla wineries. Also, gain an inside track on purchasing a limited quantity of many of these wines. The vintage wine tasting ($100) is limited to 100 tickets. Ticket buyers also receive entrance to the Meet the Winemakers Wine Tasting & Dinner, which features Andrae Bopp of Andrae’s Kitchen and his La Porte Brune Catering.

Join us as we officially kick off the Celebrate wine weekend and learn about one of the World’s most popular and ageable red wines from two leading wine industry experts.
