Cinder is a winery in Idaho's Snake River Valley. Melanie Krause is the winemaker.Melanie Krause is a graduate of the “University of Ste. Michelle” who now is crafting some of Idaho’s finest wines and leading the charge in quality in the Snake River Valley. This luscious Viognier opens with aromas of fresh corn on the cob, pear, orange and cream, followed by flavors of Mandarin orange backed with bright acidity. Pair this with delicate dishes such as poached salmon.
