16. Treveri Cellars NV Brut Rosé, Columbia Valley, $18
Juergen Grieb has been making wine in Washington since the 1980s but has emerged from others’ shadows only in the past few years with the launch of Treveri Cellars. Grieb and his son, Christian, produce no fewer than nine different sparkling wines, and this dry rosé is stunning. Aromas of strawberry, raspberry jam and cherry are backed with flavors of dried cranberry, white strawberry, peach and apricot. The bubbles lift the fruit and the spirit nicely.
Production: 1,500 cases
Alcohol: 12%
