One of Oregon’s most popular wineries has refreshed its brand, and their Pinot Gris is emblazoned with a big green “P.” Longtime winemaker Steve Anderson keeps the focus on the fruit with this 100% stainless steel presentation that opens with hints of green notes of lime, grass and crushed herbs, backed by orange oil, lemon and slate. The drink delivers delicious frontal acidity with lengthy flavors of lemon and lime as well as pear and Granny Smith apple. Suggested pairings by the Rickreall winery include grilled tiger prawns marinated in lemon and pineapple juices, then finished with a dash of white pepper and dill weed.
