tamarack-cellars-cabernet-sauvignon-columbia-valley-bottleThree of the state’s most stalwart growers — Alder Ridge, Tapteil and the Sagemoor collection — contribute to this elegant, powerful and age-worthy Cab from one of Walla Walla’s most respected wineries. The complex nose features bay leaf, dark plum and chocolate. Inside is a big entry of dark cherry, black currant and more plum with a beautiful mouth feel of fine-grained blueberry seed tannin. Dark chocolate, pomegranate acidity and minerality make for remarkable balance. Ron Coleman’s wines are distributed through the Northwest and most of the country, and since was just released in January, it shouldn’t be difficult to find this winter.

Rating: Outstanding!

Production: 1,218 cases
