Roller Girl 2013 Blocker Rosé, Walla Walla County, $15

By on August 2, 2014

Roller Girl Blocker RoseBest Buy! SuLei Cellars in Walla Walla developed this second label in support of the Walla Walla Sweets Rollergirls, which co-owner Elaine Jomwe plays for. Their pink from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon is a porch pounder with tones of cherry pie, Nutter Butter cookie, dusty peach, ripe strawberry and raspberry. There’s a late dab of sweetness but enough juicy acidity to roll with it.
