14-hands-pinot-gris-nv-bottleBest Buy! Ste. Michelle Wine Estates used the red wine program at 14 Hands to create one of the country’s hottest brands, but this style of Pinot Gris — picked at 21 Brix — also plays well at the table, too. Tropical aromas of banana and pineapple are joined by notes of caramel apple and fresh-cut pear. The palate also features pear and apple flavors in a lighter style that’s finished with kiwi, melon and flecks of minerality. Suggested pairings include grilled fish, seafood pasta or a presentation of charcuterie, artisan cheese and fruit.
