Idaho winemaker/rock climber Mike McClure presents a beautiful, fruit-forward style of Viognier, which starts with classic aromas of orange Creamsicle, lychee, orange and lemon. Yellow grapefruit, pear and melon dominate the flavors, which comes with a dry approach, good acidity — particularly for this variety — and classic grapefruit pith bitterness. Enjoy this with seared scallops or steamed mussels.
