The nose carries pleasing toast with blueberry, milk chocolate, rosemary and porcini mushroom earthiness. Flavors of boysenberry and plum lead to a nice slaty approach of tannin, red currant acidity and sweet herbs in the finish. It received a silver medal at the 2015 Capital Food and Wine Festival Competition in connection with the St. Martin’s University Alumni Association.
