A 22-month program of 100% French oak, combined with a cool vintage, makes for aromas of black cherry, blackberry and dark chocolate, joined by hints of cocoa butter, graphite and lime peel. Intense dark fruit flavors and reined-in tannins allow for a savory finish of black olive. It received a silver medal at the 2015 Seattle Wine and Food Experience Wine Awards.
