wild-goose-vineyards-riesling-2013-bottleBrothers Hagen and Roland Kruger run one of the best little wineries in the Pacific Northwest, with Hagen as winemaker and Roland as general manager. They crafted this wine from quarter-century-old vines planted on a slope below the deck of their on-premise restaurant. It opens with fresh peach and stone fruit, followed by a smooth entry with a hint of almond, peaches and a kiss of sweetness. Beautiful bright acidity lead to a complete finish.
